Which aspect ratio should I pick?
1:1 for profile pictures and Instagram posts, 16:9 for YouTube thumbnails and presentation covers, 9:16 for Stories, Reels and TikTok, 4:3 for classic photo prints. The custom option accepts any width-to-height pair, like 21:9.
How do the position sliders work?
The tool always takes the largest possible crop of your chosen shape, then the sliders move that window across the image — left to right and top to bottom. Both start centered, which is right for most photos.
Can I crop many images the same way at once?
Yes — drop a batch and every image gets the same aspect ratio and position, each computed against its own dimensions. Great for unifying a set of photos to one shape.
Is it safe to convert photos online?
